The platform runs on a composable Optimizely stack: CMS, Commerce, Product Recommendations, Experimentation integrated with Microsoft Dynamics and a broad suite of MarTech solutions for loyalty and personalised direct marketing.
Since 2023, First Three Things has provided a support service for easons.com, acting as an extension of their e-commerce and IT teams.
Our focus is day-to-day operational health. Our performance is measured against SLA conformance, backlog health, delivery velocity, defect rate, test coverage, and automation maturity.
In parallel, we’re delivering a three-year transformation programme designed to modernise the stack and maximise business performance.
Highlights: Year 1 (2023–24)
Algolia AI Search: Delivered faster, more relevant results, advanced merchandising control for editors, granular analytics, and SaaS cost efficiency.
Digital Asset Management: Introduced Bynder + Productsup, centralising product and image data management, reducing storage bloat, and streamlining feeds to online channels.
Payments Modernisation: Integrated Apple Pay and Google Pay for seamless PCI-compliant checkout on mobile and desktop.

New Product Detail Pages: UX/UI redesign with rebuilt Optimizely components.
New Checkout Pages: UX/UI redesign, post-decoupling from Dynamics Cart.
SEO Audit & Execution: Targeting double digit organic traffic uplift
Commerce Engine Upgrade: Replaced MS Dynamics Cart with Optimizely Cart
Year 3 Plan (2025–26)
Homepage Redesign: Updated UX/UI consistent with PDP and checkout changes, improved merchandising of key categories.
Further Infrastructure Upgrades: Migration to the latest Optimizely versions and full adoption of Optimizely DXP hosting for enterprise-level performance, scalability, and support.
